This legendary, bi-annual event takes place in Koopmans Hall and the courtyard from 6 - 10:00 p.m. Our goal is to raise funds for our children and youth programs so we can reduce the cost of camps, mission trips and activities and provide need-based scholarships for individual children and youth of LCPC. We are looking for auction items, volunteers and much more. If you want to help please contact Jenny Schwing, (818) 424-6483 or email@example.com.
Please consider filling a shoe-box with items such as school supplies, socks, t-shirts, hygiene items, hard candy and small toys for a child in need. A ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child sends the shoe-boxes to children all over the world. Boxes may be dropped off in the sanctuary anytime before November 14.
The Fellowship Committee is selling tickets for this witty, who-done-it play at the Glendale Center Theatre on Sunday, October 23 at 3:00 p.m. The play begins with the announcement of the death of Sherlock Holmes and his trusty colleague Dr. Watson telling the story of the famous detective’s last adventure. Tickets are $24 each and will be sold between services or contact Diana Given at firstname.lastname@example.org.
At this open forum in the LCPC sanctuary sponsored by the Session we’ll discuss perennially-important topics
such as: What standards should apply for church officers, especially as they relate to sexuality? What definition
of marriage should guild church officers and inform church policies? Sheri Gray, our clerk of Session, will
review recent decisions at LCPC relating to our bylaws and other policies. After presentations focused on the
Bible’s teachings by Dr. Rick Lyon and Lee Cook, we will engage in conversation moderated by Andy Wilson.
Anyone age 17 or older is welcome and younger youth are welcome if accompanied by a parent.
